A Scrambling Remembrance at Johnny Brook

Our parents: Walter D. Scrambling and Winifred ( Kelsey) Scrambling, had a farm in Johnny Brook , and we would like to share a couple of memories with you. Our Father had a hard cider barrel outside by the creek, and one day our Mother pulled the cork out of it, and it all ran in the creek, the neighbors ( the Sampsons) said all the fish looked like they were having a ball.

One day, our Father, "while on the way back from the Friendly Tavern" went off the side of the bridge, and landed in the creek, the car was on it's side, and we had to get the team of horses to pull the car out. Never dull in Johnny Brook. Well just wanted to share this, and if anyone remembers it, or us, please drop a note at Nagels2@echoes.net.
