I recently received a box of pictures belonging to my cousin George Smith. Many of the pictures I know are of people related to me, but that I don't recognize. There are seven pictures all were taken about 1920-1930's. I believe that these people are all part of the Watson family that I have been searching since 1998. The one with the boy and child may be my Uncle John Watson born in 1899. My Grandmother lived in Kortright in 1915, in Delhi on Main St. in 1920 and in the Peaks Brook area from some time after 1925 until 1932 when she died. --Linda M Smith, October 12, 2002 Additional Information: My Uncle William Watson married Emma Jones daughter of William Jones and Mary Frances Thompson. My Uncle John Watson married twice. Mary Jones daughter of Philip Ira Jones and Delila Adeline Van Keuren. Also possible Mary Grant daughter of Alexander Grant and Mrs. Lewis Luk? Aunt Lula Watson married Francis Smith son of George A. Smith and Mary Elizabeth Burns. Uncle Edward Watson married Nellie Fullington daughter of Homer Fullington and Carrie Crosby. Aunt Edna Watson married twice. George Sloat son of Bowman Sloat and Mary Frances Aldrich. Second Floyd William Lee son of William Lee and Elizabeth E. Lewis. Aunt Violet Watson married twice. Russell Fonda son of Unknown Fonda and Anita Eckerson. Second, William Edgar Webster parents unknown. My father Richard Watson married twice. First Josephine Lockwood daughter of Joseph Lockwood and Margaret Buckley. Second, my mother Marietta Stoner daughter of Clarence Stoner and Florence Blackburn. |
