The photo above (May 13, 2009) is courtesy of Katrina Lyon,It is of her home on Elk Creek Road, East Meredith. It was built in 1916 for Merritt Barnes, son of Elizabeth (Hanford) Barnes and grandson of D.J. Hanford. Katrina grew up in this house and now she and her husband are raising their children here. Katrina says they couldn't ask for a better place to live.
