NEWELL-SINFRISEN 1860 LETTER

I have an old letter, no relation to us in this letter. It is from an A.G. Newell (maybe) and addressed to Mr. D. Sinfrisen, possibly. The sender was the Pastor of The Congregational Church Sidney Center and owed this gentleman some money. It is dated Jan 14, 1860. This was in with some crochet things that my cousin sent to me when his mother died. Mr. D. Sinfrisen Dear Sir, You line has been received and I -----the first mail to reply. I regret that I have no grain of anykind for you, because I can tell ------------- I am not living on a farm now, but for the present am settled as Pastor of The Congregational Church Sidney Center I have had many unpleasant reflections about the sum due you and appreciated your kindness in waiting and hope you me be able without discommoding yourself too much to wait while I can get a little straightened around and your obligation shall be attended to as soon as possible. I was not as fortunate on my farm as I could have --- and have been in some expense this fall and winter in getting furniture and things to settle here: but I am doing well now and hope soon to satisfy you in full.
