Delaware County NY Genealogy and History Site

Attached is the JENKINS FAMILY REGISTER of Delaware County, belonging to Cornelius Jenkins and Lurancy Lockwood. Cornelius b. 12/25/1811, was the son of Jacob Kniffen"Sniffin" Jenkins and Rachel Keator. Cornelius died 5/26/1876. He was the grandson of Nathaniel Jenkins (b.1756, Dutchess Co) and Betsey/Elizabeth Robinson. His great grandparents were Major Ebenezer Robinson & Ann Stone, Solomon Jenkins & - - Lurancy Lockwood was born December 27, 1817 and died July 19, 1883, Vega, NY. Cornelius and Lurancy were married July 10, 1836. They are buried in the Methodist Cemetery, Grand Gorge.
