Second Generation

2. Moses BURNS (John) was born 1781 in Ireland. He died 1811 after a fall off a roof, helping to build first frame house in Bovina. This house was located on Erksine farm on Boggs Road, now owned by Lapinell. Moses married Catherine SINCLAIR, daughter of John SINCLAIR, on 5 Jul 1803. Catherine was born in Orange County and died in Bovina Center, New York. She was buried in old UP Cemetery, Bovina Center. They had the following children:

5 M iii. Moses BURNS. Moses married Sarah MITCHELL, daughter of Robert MITCHELL and Sarah KERR. Sarah was born 7 Nov 1818. She died 31 Jan 1858.
