ROCK ROYAL CREAMERY

Adelbert Barringer is the man sitting on top of the milkcans. He lived in and grew up in Cleaver, but worked around the area at a variety of jobs as a young man. (see group photo)

Adelbert's brother, George, kept a diary for years. (see Barringer Census Info)

Saturday, April 30, 1904 George wrote, "The boys hooked up the horses and Pa and Emery started for Trout Creek this morning and they took Dell's trunk down to Rockroyal where he will begin work in the creamery tomorrow."

I would love to know who else was working at the creamery and in this picture with Adelbert Barringer. Send any info you have to Joyce Riedinger, Site Manager at 19towns@dcnyhistory.org.
