Delaware County NY Genealogy and History Site

This snapshot was taken at the wedding of Margaret Helen (Peggy) Boggs and Benjamin Cunningham Andrews, 31 Aug 1933 and includes all the descendants of William S Boggs up to that date. I’m the little girl on the right and am the only one of this group still alive. The wedding took place at the Presbyterian church in South Kortright and the photo was taken in my grandfather’s front yard. His house is actually off to the left. The house in the background belonged to Sanfords.

The children in the front row are flower girl Betty Jean Field, James Henry Field (Jimmie) and Jean Marie Zerbe. I was almost 4.

The next is Henry Hull Field holding son William Hull Field (Billy), Ada Boggs Field, Ben Andrews, Peggy Boggs Andrews, William Sidney Boggs, Emily Boggs Zerbe.

In the back is my father, Walter Benjamin Zerbe, Hazel Wood Boggs and her husband, Kenneth Edward Boggs.

The photographer certainly didn’t have everyone’s attention.

The Field Family lived in Washington, DC also and those were the cousins I grew up with. --Jean Ferrull
