IN THE MATTER OF THE PERSONAL
ESTATE OF JOHNSON NASH DECEASED.

Whereas the said Court being satisfied with the proofs made. That due notice has been given according to law, of the intention of proving the Will of the said deceased. It is therefore ordered, that the Executor of said Will have leave to proceed to prove the Will of the said deceased, And there upon the said Will being produced and shown to said Court.

In the matter of proving the Will of the Personal Estate of Johnson Nash deceased.

Jared Goodrich Jr. of the town of Kortright, being first duly sworn deposeth and saith, that he saw Johnson Nash deceased subscribe the instrument, now shown to him this deponent and which purports to be the last Will and Testament of the said Johnson Nash deceased bearing date the Twenty First day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty. That he heard the said Johnson Nash declare to same to be his last Will and Testament and that he, this deponent, did subscribe his name as a witness thereto, at the request of the said Johnson Nash. And further that the said Johnson Nash was of sound mind and memory, of full age, and not under any restraint and further this deponent saith not.

Before me Robert North, Surrogate - Jared Goodrich,Jr

And thereupon it appearing to the said Court, that the Will of the said deceased was duly executed according to law, and that the said testator who executed the same, was at the time of making such execution, of sound mind and memory, of full age, and not under any restraints. It is therefore ordered by the said Court, on due deliberation, that the said Will together with the proof thereof be recorded. The said Will so ordered to be recorded, is as follows:

I, Johnson Nash, of the town of Kortright County of Delaware, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following- I give all my personal property that I am now in possession of, or as much thereof as shall be left of my estate to my daughters, Anor Jacobs, Esther Reynolds, Hannah Henrey, Elizabeth Greenold, Happy Henrey, Sally Heath, Ascenath Henrey, Phebee Bermin, to be divided equally between them, with this exception, it is my will and is to be understood that Anor Jacobs equal proportion is to remain in the hands of my executor, for him to give her at his discretion and as her necessity may require. To Isaac Nash my son, whom I nominate and appoint sole executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other and former wills by me made at any time heretofore. I give all my wearing apparel to my son Isaac Nash.
