Rev. Willilam Warren d. Dec 6, 1830 at Olive, Ulster Co. in the 70 year of his age. At his
desire his remains were removed to the burial ground of the 1st Baptist church at
Roxbury (this cemetery) where he was chosen pastor May 27, 1796. He was born in
Glasgow, Scotland, came to America in the Revolutionary War. Commenced his
ministry at Fredericktown, now Carmel, NY, Rev. N. Coles, church June 25, 1791.
He was ordained at the same church in 1793. He moved to Batavia Kill Roxbury Feb.
