WEBSTER FAMILY

I have a take on the cemetery removals as it relates to my family. I have researched my family in depth and found that I have lost my gr gr grandmother Eliza Webster and her grandson Royal Webster. Eliza died in 1891 and Royal died in 1890. Both were buried in Cannonsville cemetery. On the removables neither appear on the list. But I find that Rachel A Cuyle is removed to the Walton cemetery. Rachel Cuyle died in 1861 wife of Jacob Cuyle both are buried in the Pioneer cemetery in Masonville. Alexander Webster is supposed to be moved to Hale Eddy cemetery by his father John.( my gr gr uncle ) his name is on John’s stone but Alexander fought the war with the 7th Wisconsin Regiment. He was wounded in South Mountain and captured in Haymarket Virginia in 1864. In 1865 he died in Andersonville prison and is buried there. I am sure there has been a mix up and cover up but we will never know. I believe I am the last living Webster born in the town of Tompkins since 1800 and want this on record for future interested family researchers.
