Delaware County's Oldest Citizen Taken to the Poor House.

A few days ago "Uncle" Eri Gray of Roxbury, the oldest person in Delaware County, or perhaps in the adjoining counties, took dinner at Crispell's Hotel. There has been some questions as to his age, but it is doubtless true that he saw the light in the year 1783, making his pilgrimage of 108 years' duration. He was called on by many people, and conversed freely. The sad part was that he was conveyed to the county house, to which he objects. He says he will not stay when he gets able to walk back to the scenes of his many efforts. -- "Andes Recorder".

[Mr Gray is found in this list Delaware County Home Cemetery and a couple census lists on this website.
