Ulysses Grant Clark & Katie (Benjamin) Clark April 11, 1888

This is Ulysses Grant Clark and his family, the son of my great-great-grandfather's (Stephen C. Clark) brother, Charles and Antoinette (Face) Clark. Antoinette died when Ulysses was about 5 although one record says 3 years old. He went to live with his uncle Stephen and his children one of which was my Great Grandmother, Mattie Clark (Judd). He was thought of more as a son and brother and was called Uncle Ulysses. They all lived in Jefferson, Blenheim and Gilboa but as an adult Ulysses and his wife, Katie Benjamin, were members of the Presbyterian Church in Stamford where he was a tenor in the choir.
